FAQ’s
Can the Gravity Signature Body Peel treat Surgical Scars?
Yes. Tummy Tuck, Breast Augmentation, and Cesarian Section Scars are commonly treated.
How soon after surgery can I have my first Gravity Signature Body Peel?
Treatment can begin once the incision is fully healed and can also be used on scars that are older than 1 to 3 years.
When will the treated area start peeling? And what will it look like?
Flaking/Peeling typically begins 5-7 days after the peel is applied. The skin will feel tight or dry right before it peels. Do not pick, pull or roll the skin as this could lead to significant irritation, possible hyperpigmentation, and scarring. Peeling may look like light flaking, sheet peeling or may be barely visible to the naked eye. The amount of visible peeling varies greatly. You will peel as much as your skin needs to peel.
What should I expect after having the Gravity Signature Body Peel treatment?
It is normal to have redness, mild stinging, dryness, and mild itching in the treatment area. Skin reaction varies from person to person and depends on the area being treated.
