What to Expect Before, During & After Treatment
Preparation
We recommend avoiding sun exposure, retinoids or strong exfoliants as advised by your provider. If you have a history of cold sores, please notify your provider so preventive medication can be arranged.
Procedure
The session is typically quick. A topical numbing cream may be applied. You’ll feel a warm or mild prickling sensation as the laser works, and the treatment is delivered with precision to the target area.
Recovery & after-care
After treatment you may experience:
- Light pinkness or redness for 1-2 days (face)
- Dryness or mild swelling for 2-5 days depending on treatment depth
Avoid strong sun exposure and use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 50 or higher). Follow your provider’s recommended skincare regime to ensure optimal results.
Results
You can expect smoother, more even-looking skin emerging in the days and weeks following treatment. With a series of treatments (commonly 2-4), results can further improve.
